With over thirty years of experience in the Canadian Financial Services industry, Andrew McKinney’s career experience spans Digital Transformation, Application Development, Infrastructure Operations, Architecture, Information Security and Relationship Management.  Andrew is currently the Senior Vice-President of Architecture, Core Technology and Information Security where he is responsible for managing IGM Financial’s core Wealth and Asset Management platforms in service of its IG Wealth Management and Mackenzie Investments lines of business. Jason is Vice President and Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income at iA Global Asset Management, helping oversee the company’s $125+ billion in assets under management. He is also a member of the Approval Committee for iA GAM’s alternative investments, including private equity, real estate and infrastructure. Jason boasts nearly 30 years’ work experience in the capital markets, most of it spent on sell side fixed income research, where he led his team to a #1 rank for 13 consecutive years. Jason is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute, a CFA charter holder and member of CFA Society Toronto’s Professional Development Committee. He is currently completing his Doctor of Business Administration in Behavioural Finance at the University of Calgary and has an MA in Geography (Toronto), an MA in International Affairs (Carleton) and an MEd in Development Psychology (Toronto).

Trevor Bergeron, Founder

Trevor Bergeron is a mechanical-engineer-turned-fintech-builder creating practical AI for everyday investors. He founded StockAlgos.com in 2021, delivering a toolbox for a variety of datasets –congressional & insider trades, fundamental ratios, news analysis, hedgefund holdings, historical earnings analysis and much more that hosts thousands of retail investors.


In 2023 he launched Predictr.ca, a “Substack-meets-stock picking” prediction marketplace where users publish trade ideas, compete for cash prizes, and monetize their followings.


Trevor began his entrepreneurial path at Queen’s University (B.Sc. MechEng, ’17) with a student holiday-shuttle service, then ran a boutique dev agency for Canadian SMEs, and later served as CTO & co-founder of the venture platform StartupFuel. His current work sits at the intersection of Gen AI, community incentives, and capital markets.

JON AIKMAN, FOUNDER, NORDAI

Jon Aikman, Founder

Jon is an adjunct faculty at Queen’s University and Cornell University. He teaches graduate and executive courses in the Master of Finance, MBA, Master of Management of Artificial Intelligence and Master of International Business programs. Jon is on the advisory board for the MFIN and MFIT programs. Jon is also the founder of Matrix Law P.C. (www.matrixlaw.ca), and Nordai (www.nordai.co). He is a qualified lawyer in Canada, England & Wales. He is also a Chartered Investment Manager, sits on the investment committee of endowment and pension fund of Victoria College at the University of Toronto, and the Canadian Bar Association. Jon was a member of a working group on financial stability and systemic risk at the Federal Reserve of Chicago. He was the Chief Investment Officer of an alternative investment firm. Jon has a law degree from Queen’s University, an MBA from the University of Oxford and has completed advanced certificates on artificial intelligence and fintech from MIT.
